Air Cargo Carriers has maintained the world's largest civilian fleet of SD3-30 and SD3-60 aircraft for over two decades.  We also maintain one of the world's largest inventories of Shorts spares to support this fleet. 

Having the ability to part out 6 SD3-30's and 1 SD3-60 airframes has allowed our Component Sales Department to maintain our fleet and provide a valuable resource for  other Shorts operators.

In partnering with our affiliates, Milwaukee Avionics & Instruments and Midwest Turbine Services, we have been able to maintain current cycles on much of our inventory.

Our unique situation as the largest civilian Shorts operator allows us to stock large airframe parts that other vendors do not offer.  We stock doors, windows, flight controls, stabilizers, air ducts, and many other parts.

Having the need to purchase in larger quantities helps us provide lower per unit costs for our fleet and customers.

We have also recently acquired PMA capabilities on dozens of Shorts aircraft parts.  This allows us to provide less expensive alternatives to costly Shorts parts and allows us to keep costs of operating low.
